Help with Stained Glass Artists Name?

When visiting Brittany in 2009 I was really taken with some modern stained glass windows in Crozon church. I would like to know who the artist was and how those wonderful chunks of glass were made if possible.
The church is situated in the centre of Crozon with a small square outside, I thinks it's Saint Pierre.
I have found information about the older windows but no mention of the coloured glass (no picture) windows which make up the bulk of the side windows.
They consist of large chunks of thick glass, one colour to a window, but are graded so lighter at the peak than the base.
They appear to be held together with concrete, which is why I think they are modern.

Milly's reply:

I'm stumped! I can't find the stained glass artists name - can anyone else help here? I can tell you a bit about the process though.

The technique you're referring to is called Dalle de Verre - 'slab of glass' in French. It's also called faceted glass. The process was first invented in France in 1927, but has since become much more sophisticated with the invention of new and more flexible resins. Gabriel Loire introduced it to the US in 1955.

Glass of various colours is cast 2- 3cm thick, before being part cut with a diamond saw and then deliberately chipped with a tungsten carbide plated hammer. This allows a wonderful play of light on the edges.
The pieces are placed within a frame exactly the same size as the window dimension before pouring the resin. Metal supports are needed as part of the framework to strengthen the windows.

There's a huge wall made from Dalle de Verre in Buckfastleigh Abbey near where I live - made by the monks from the Abbey. It's a very spectacular sight.

Hope this helps, let me know if you find the identity of your stained glass artist...
