Indian Textile as Stained Glass Art!

Indian Textile

Like most of my stained glass art pieces, this took rather a lot of playing and experimenting before it was born. It arose because I was teaching textiles with a theme of India. I wanted to produce a piece of stained glass that reflected the idea of a piece of fabric. It incorporates mirror glass, etching, painting and fusing. It has an irregular edge, though it cannot be seen in this image.

Hi Jenn,

This isn't stained glass art - I think you've smuggled in a photo of your textile work! Joking aside, it's fantastic how you've managed to make glass look so much like material. Amazing. It must've taken loads of work. Thanks for that.
