Learning How to Make Stained Glass
I need to do a course over a few days. I want to learn how to make stained glass and fused glass. Where is the best place to do it? I am from Ireland, but I am willing to travel far for a great course.
Milly's reply: Hello there Sue. Nice to hear you've got the stained glass bug badly! There's several places that teach these techniques in the UK - you could try Liquid Glass in Frome for a very creative approach, there's Warm Glass in Bristol too. They do a range of courses at different levels from beginners to masterclasses with internationally known glass artists. Very exciting! Creative Glass in Rochester, Kent do classes, as do Creative Glass Guild in Bristol. Nearer to you in Liverpool, you could try Pearsons Glass. There, that should keep you going! If you try all those, you'll be running your own classes and I'll be coming along to learn how to make stained glass! I'd be interested to know how you get on - let me know won't you?
